Selective coloring of one object on a black and white photograph never was appealing to me. It has it's place in advertising and technical manuals but leaves a lot to be desired for general photography. Just a 2c. worth.

I tend to generally agree with that Rayford. 8-)

I tend to agree with Both of you.

So the three of us then can agree to agree. 8-)

Is this some kind of conspiracy?

It's either a vast right wing conspiracy, a communist left wing conspiracy, or a greasy chicken wing conspiracy. Let's let someone start a thread to determine which. 8-)

I could go for the greasy chicken wing. I'm getting hungry.

Either! They are both good!

As I have scrolled back & forth many times, trying to decide, I agree with MsJ!
I could pick one over the other depending if I want an old, long time ago look.

Maybe that's why I like the color one Pat. I'm getting concerned at beginning to have that old, long time ago look myself.

I didn't say anything about selective color. Just Black and White instead of sepia. Just my preference.

Jen, I don't remember agreeing to disagree, only agreeing to agree, therefore, I do not agree with your disagreement, agreed? 8-)

Just realized you live in Ft. Lauderdale. I used to love that city, so I am not going to report you after all.

I agree Jenny. I have a lot of old family pictures that were tinted (colorized) during the 1940's and they are nice.
What I'm saying is when you take a black and white picture and color just one object (such as one flower) it doesn't do the picture justice. And same holds true for a PS'd color picture where all color was removed except for one object.

I think it looks better in sepia. It is also a beautiful color photograph. I prefer sepia.
