Well, just one more ....... did you happen to get a shot of the bronze plaque imbedded in the middle of the square the commemorates the first public 4th of July Celebration in the U.S. at Salem, NC? I'd really like to see a good photo of that one. I shot it years ago but all I have left is a 640 x 480 .jpg of the thing.

I didn't even see that, I'll have to look for that next time I'm back and get a shot of it.

Nice job. I was there in July. We ended up going too late in the day as most everything was closed. Leaving for Durham today to visit with my daughter.
