I I am having a gas attack also. I am trying to resist as I can not reasonable justify the use for one. I do not get to shoot as much as I used to. Maybe if resist a little I can over come the attack.
Let us know how you like it! I am VERY leery of refurbished Cameras. I have shot 3 different 7Ds. 2 were bought new, and mine is refurbished, and I do not like mine NEAR as much as I liked the other 2, and it all has to do with my sensor. Mine has WAY more noise and is more grainy at 100%.

  I'm afraid the old Borg adage "resistance is futile" is going to finally win with me, either for a MkII or a 5Ds3. So far so good though!!

Shot the 7D for many years and my wife is using it now and loves it. I replaced it with the 7D MK II. What ISO do you use and do you over expose by 1/3 or 2/3's of a stop. That's what I have the 7D set up to and sometimes I do have to some NR but it works for us. A 7D MK II for $999.00 is one heck of a good deal and I wouldn't shy away from a refurbished one, just couldn't find any when I was buying.
