Was lucky enough to find the Costco Special Edition at the Missoula MT Costco today. Question I have: Should I delete PE 10 before installing PE 14?

Don't have to, I kept 13. They are very helpful if you have problems with the install -- you can get on chat. Do not lose the coupon worth 50 free 4x6 prints at Costco! Almost threw mine away!

Photoshop Elements does NOT do upgrades. Each new version of Elements is separate from previous versions. You can run them alongside each other. It is a misnomer that anyone ever called new versions of Elements "UPGRADES".

They are not, in the sense that we think of an upgrade as a new software that loads over the top of a previous version and changes it to a newer version.

Elements has never done that. Always a new version entirely.

Whether you keep the old version is irrelevant, unless you use it to flip back to a feature you have not learned yet in the newer version.

I've had times when there are as many as four different Elements on my computer, simply because I always forgot to go take the earlier ones off the hard drive. (uninstalled them)

It's a good idea to at least keep version 10 on a backup disk, just in case.

I do use both. Basically because I haven't learned 14. Several features where moved to a different location. Was starring me in the face on 14 but didn't see it. Sort of like "X" being in the upper right corner and in 14 move it to the lower left corner. Just an example. New interface to an extent. Like going from win 7 to win 10. Just like right clicking on the win 10 start button ! A "duh" moment.

Thanks for the heads up. I am comfortable with PE 10 and haven't yet installed PE 14 - sort of "brain freeze" moments when I have to get out of my comfort zone!

Work with both. the fonts format in 14 is not good, I use 10. Theres a lot of things I have to go back to 10. You might want to with for PSE 15.
