Clicker, your forks are very interesting. In that first photo the
first prong on the right is really an eye cather. I wonder if you chropped it to remove a good portion on the left, if it would bring up another interesting image. Might be worth a try.

I often cannot get motivated to take pictures and wander around trying to find something interesting! Or I find a subject but just can't seem to get an angle or POV that is interesting! I worked these forks forever it seemed and only got a couple that even came close to what I was trying for.

Note to self....go delete all the ones that didn't work!!! LOL!

Good morning, Irene. This will be an interesting challenge. You are right on, it is hard to find something of interest at times, especially when we have been to a beautiful place with photo ops falling all over you, then return to the same old, same old. Thanks for spuring us onward.

I was suprised yesterday to see the first goldfinch of the season. I cannot photograph through the window like Fred Ann due to a sunscreen and it is raining today, but I hope to capture some goldfinch soon-before they are all dull olive colored. Ours are never bright yellow unless one is left behind in the spring. Like the one I posted in our bird challenge. I did pick up a stick that looks interesting. We will see.

Welcome to the next challenge. Thank you Judy for hosting 'Then' and 'Now'. It was a wonderful challenge with very fun and interesting posts by everyone.

It must be the fall 'blues' as I am having trouble picking up my camera and getting out to shoot. I did go out one day to a nearby State Park knowing most of the colorful leaves had fallen....and hoped to find something of interest. And to make it more challenging I put on the 75-300 mm lens....not a good walk about lens....but very challenging....at least it was for me.

You must be working hard. I have photos to send you when I get my computer out of the shop. Still thinking about our good times. Be careful in the bad weather. Maybe you can get photos of the wind!!!

Life has been busy. I will try to get out after work. We are supposed to get 50 to 55 mph winds today.

To relieve that depression caused by the loss of the magnificant color (which few have), look at those bare trees as sculpture. They are beautiful. I love bare trees and can hardly wait for them. Ours are still full of brown leaves. I want to go to the swamp very soon in hopes of getting some bare trees. Try ome along the coast.

Thanks, Irene. Hope to get to the link. Like you, haven't taken the camera out a lot lately. November is a depressing month - everything browns, bleak and bare. This would be a good assignment to find something that would be otherwise.

The November Photoshop magazine has the most interesting article on black and white conversation and how black and white digital works. It is by Vincent Versace beginning on page 56. If you don't have it, see if your library does, or a friend. It is well worth the effort. It helped me understand why some black and white is good and some is terrible. Also why it does not work to desaturate. CreativeLive.com has had some good classes on conversion. Watch for a free one.

We go to Wendy park and see these bridges often so I used some special effects to prevent boredom in the viewers! :)

Thank you. These leaves are usually a dull orange brown color, but when the sun gave them back lighting they almost glowed this reddish color. Amazing how light can transform something boring into a thing of beauty. :)
