Simply awesome, love them.
This flower is beautiful!
Great views...... :thumbup:
Love the silouette and the flower. How did you light the flower?
Wow, great images and great colors, but as a surfer, I gotta pick number 3!!!
This is a Night Blooming Cereus Bloom. The flower is very large; about the size of a human head. They bloom in July and August for only one night and die in the morning. The blossoms do not open until about midnight and this shot was taken at 3am when the flower was fully open;
Taken with a Sony 717 DSLR using 3 inexpensive Vivitar
flashes synced to the camera flash with Wein auto syncs. The biggest problem with the shoot was the intermittent rain which drifted through the valley and required moving the light stands under an overhanging roof.

Wow sharp bird, great silhouette, and fantastic lighting.
I actually can't even choose a favorite here!
They're all beautiful and have a different impact... awesome set.
Love all of the shots. Especially the last one.Very Nice
Cant do better than repeat what Tilde said. She has the "gift of the Gab" always but hit the nail on the head this time, superb, I am reading a book for the 100th time that has a night heron in it so thats special to me but the last flower shot is remarkable.
Fabulous all round
