Remember: Y'all is singular. All y'all is plural. All y'all's is plural possessive.

As a 37 year English teacher, it's great to be reminded of how things really are.

Thank the good Lord I didn't have to use these terms when writing tech manuals for the U.S. military! Would have driven the Yankee (not politically correct term, I know) lads bonkers trying to figure out how to fix the equipment.

Being from Kentucky I give a B- for effort and a D- for execution.
Yuh is singular - How Yuh doing Joe?
Y'all (you all) is plural - Dang, Y'all sure do have a big family!
Y'all's is the plural possessive - I got Y'all's tickets to the game right heh.
All Y'All is the inclusive - Now remember All Y'all are invited to the party.
(Also a retired teacher.)
Now if one of you "Joisey boys" would give us a similar useage of "youse"............LOLOL
And "all y'all" is massive.
And if you hear, "Hey, y'all watch this," call 911.
