I like #2 but try lightening it overall and slightly burning in the dark water

I like version 2, but it looks like it needs a perspective adjustment. The bridge looks lopsided. JMHO.

Thanks gemlenz. You're right it is a bit lopsided - I'm going to post a new version based on the comments.

One more vote for #! although something in between might be better. I find the dark and featureless foreground water to be distracting on #2.

Two versions of Tower Bridge - just wondering which you prefer. Many thanks.

I don't like either one because the towers aren't vertical and because Tower Bridge is much more attractive in color.

That said I like the second less because it is too dark.

There is no question #2 because of the detail in the sky. However that makes much of the rest of the image too dark. This is easily corrected in PS. In the future , faced with the same situation, drop in an ND Grade hard filter or in PS apply a ND effect on the sky. You can also shoot HDR for better overall exposure.

HDR or, if using a Nikon, high ADL would be better because the GND would also darken the towers. And you want the water toned down too in the first exposure.

If interested you might try posting an unedited one in the Post Processing forum and ask the folks to take their cut at it and tell you what they did. Sometimes yields very interesting ideas.

I'd prefer the unedited color version if you have it.

You can also post the one you like best and ask for comments on it. The general rules for that forum prefer you to post the original and post processed when you want feedback on your processing.

I like #2 best; show the entire structure.
Have you ever been inside? very interesting!
