I remember coming home to southern California from Alaska in the early winter. We would get a lot of looks like we were insane. I never did understand what the problem was. Those wackos were running around in the heat wearing their big heavy jackets when the weather clearly called for shorts and tank tops like we were wearing.

It's what you get used to. I'm from Ohio but I remember while in Viet Nam it got down to 60 and I felt like it was freezing out.

I spent most of my childhood living in Grass Valley or Chicago Park and as I can remember my winter socks were just a little heavier than those pictured but those would work well in Redwood City when we moved there. Cute shot though, thanks.
Don't laugh it was 40 here this morning! That is cold for SoCal. Definitely Time to breakout the winter clothing!
