Sorry that I haven't been on in awhile. I have been trying to get out the last little bit between all that's been going on to get some shots. I seem to have gravitated to the pipers.

Like the job you did on the blacks of the stilts.

Tough to get texture on black feathers.

Unknown Piper looks to be a Least Yellowlegs. (unprofessional opinion)

Thank you so much. That one was a happy accident. I was just gathering up my stuff up to leave and and heard these guys calling while they landed. I had just enough time to snap off about 6 pics before they saw me and took off.

Thank you for the ID. It very well could be the Least/Lesser Yellowlegs.

Those are stunners! Wonderful shots of the little shore birds!
That snipe trio is terrific!
I'm glad you took the time to come up with IDs on these guys, they are hard to ID since they often look so much alike and the same bird can look three different ways at different times of the year.

Thanks Gator! Means alot to me. I really am proud of the trio pic myself but I just have to laugh at the pic of the Least Sandpiper. They were such clowns to watch and really such a cute little bird!
