Hello everyone, glad to find this site. I'm looking forward to getting to know some fellow photographers. I'm newly retired and picking up taking photo's again as a hobby.

Welcome...I'm sort of retired as well, and hoping to get more time for photography. I was stationed in Orlando for nearly 4 yrs..loved it. (of course it's all different now..I was there when Disneyworld was being built, left right after it opened.)

Hi David,
I was working in Orlando during that same time, lived in Oviedo, left in 1976 as I remember. Came back to central Florida about 25 years ago and act like a native now. I wouldn't live in Orlando now for anything. Lakeland is a nice middle size city, big enough for everything I need, and I can always travel internationally to Tampa or Orlando if I need to see different cultures. :-D
