I you like this picture, then, that is all that matters.

To "Fire away", as you put it, the composition could have been better, I know, birds move about, but this one is rather obscured and while the leaves on the Acer are red the Robin does seem to lack a bit of colour.

Of course, I don't know what your Robins look like in Oregon, ours here are very Red this time of year, so I am probably wrong, that's the international internet for you.

Well taken anyway.

Thank you Leicaflex. I know the color could be better...I had less than a minute to snap this before he was gone, it was a foggy morning so that may have washed things out. The leaves are a fiery red that did intrigue me though. I also wish I could have had a sharper focus.

Mustanger, you made a fine photograph. I took the liberity to give your wonderful photo a little snap from its flat showing.

Nothing was done in photoshop, I used iPhoto EDT on my MAC. As follows: Slight crop, enhanse, add contrast, saturation, and definition.

There are very high quality lenses out there that will give a finer image but their BIG BUCKS, Carl Zeiss and E Leitz LEICA.

You have a GOOD-EYE I wouldn't change anything! AP

WooHoo! Thanks AP! I really appreciate EVERYTHING! The pic really does have snap now!! I never expected that, thank you so much. I like the pose my Robin has even if part is hidden... Bright bright bright now!

I have a PC so am not familiar with those programs, but maybe I should start checking editing programs & learning something new again...love it! Nice meeting you also. Folks are very friendly in here, glad I found it.

Forget any $5,000 plus lenses LOL, I'm retired & supporting too many doctors now...& obama is not helping me!
