Hi, Linda--do these images cause you a feeling of nostalgia for autumn in Maine? Hope you are enjoying better air now that the wildfire season has been drowned out. Glad you enjoyed viewing my post!

We had a gorgeous Sept. and first three weeks of October, as far as air quality and abundant sunshine and warm temps. There's actually quite a bit of color in these parts, though it's mostly yellow :)

Diane, these really turned out superb. I have barely scratched the surface on processing a few of my images from this weekend. I look forward to seeing more of what you captured. My posts may pale in comparison.

Aren't those great fences for photography? Where I used to live, they were called Cherokee fences. They have lots of character as a foreground subject, for sure. Glad you enjoyed the series, Woodsman!

dmyer, these are lovely. I have photographed that falls and it's not easy getting a good shot from the angle you have to use. Excellent job!

These pictures are from this past weekend and were taken along Hwy. 276 in the Pisgah National Forest. The leaves were fragile by then and the forecast calls for heavy winds in the next few days, so I'm glad I got out when I did to enjoy my favorite season.

dmeyer, these are beautiful pictures...good detail, excellent colors, and composition. Thanks for sharing. Tejaswrangler :)
