Neat. Sit in one place for 20 minutes or more and capture a bunch of keepers. I'm glad you went against the tenets of your "religion" so you could finally "see the light" as it was meant to be seen. I like these a lot Dennis. I don't know if you used it or not, but PSE 13 has a neat facility to fill in the edges with content-aware fill as you straighten an image. Sometimes I will bring in a photo to PSE 13 just to use that facility. I don't know why PS CC 2015 hasn't implemented it too.
beautiful, especially after the fix ;)

Thanks very much, Bob. These photos were a real challenge exposurewise so I was very happy they came out as well as they did. Still trying to develop an "eye" to know what adjustments are warranted. I worry about being too heavy handed. These represent major progress. With anything involving computers I'm thick as a rock wall but slowly gaining confidence. So far just using Camera Raw but have lots of flower shots from the summer so will start playing with effects. Don't worry. I won't become the next Bob Yankle - for a while.
Beautiful shots. I miss this place. Used to come to Maine every fall to visit my grandparents. They lived in Kittery.
