Beautiful work! I've always admired those who are artistically talented, and you certainly are! (I have trouble reading my signature, after it gets cold:o(

I saw your other post, 'Bic Art: The rest of them', before I ran across this one and wondered at the time, "what the hell is Bic Art?''. Now I know. But I have to say, when I first saw 'Bic Art', I didn't think of ball point pens. Instead, I thought of Bic Lighters. Go figure.
They are very good, I really like them.

I drew these 35 years ago of Elvis and John with Bic ball
point pens, it took about 12 hours each, very tedious work.
I thought they had been lost, turns out my son saved them.
I thought I would share them with my friends on UHH.
I shot them laying on them floor with less than optimal
lighting.

Earnest, you are truly a gifted artist. Those look fantastic.

I agree with Jim; these are superb. I hope you are still drawing.

Thank you Rob, I haven't done much lately, 73 year old hands don't work that well anymore.

If you drew these live, then you should tease all the details from your memory and document them. Often, the story about a drawing adds an historic dimension of value. You have a skill that needs to be told.

I don't quite understand your question John, do you mean,
did they pose for me or did I draw them freehand? If it is
the latter, I sat down with drawing paper on my lap, ball
point pen in one hand and paper towel in the other and drew stroke by stroke until done 8 to 12 hrs. later. It was
very tedious but I loved it.

I didn't mean "posed," but I guess it was taken that way. I just wondered if were in place to see him, like a concert or something. Or might it have been from a picture. One would be historical and have a story.

They were all drawn from existing pictures, nothing historical about it. Thanks for viewing John.
