Small tires are like those small flat batteries. there are too many sizes, and the size you want is always hard to find.

I need two tires and wheels for a leaf vac that gets pulled behind a riding mower. Yesterday, the valve stem cracked. Luckily, I was able to remove the tire and insert a new stem.

I decided the best thing to do would be to buy new tires and wheels. The tires are "3.5 X 5 - 6" tubeless - not very difficult to find. I don't know what that "- 6" refers to. However, no one seems to have the wheels. Obviously, they're sized for the tries, but they have 6" wide hubs, with a 3/4" interior diameter for the shaft.

If any of you know of someone selling this wheel/tire combination, I'd love to hear about it.

Tractor Supply sells them. Have you considered putting a tube in?

The tire that you show is a common size it used on just about everything . Go two harbor freight there only about 5.00

Thanks. These wheels are old and have considerable rust. When I removed the tire to put in the new valve stem, the rim actually bent as I used the tire spoons to pry the tire off. I was looking for tire/wheel combinations, which I found at Marathon Tire. I could specify the hub and bearing size and get exactly what I needed. That 6" hub with 3/4" bearings is not very common.

I don't like tubes. The tires I ordered are flat-free - no air.

I saw this post yesterday and thought that most of the hogs had solved your problem. Anyhow, you bought some from Marathon.
My thought, for the next time which I hope you won't need to, would be to see if you could get a lightly different size tire/wheel combo. Seem to me that as long as wheel had the 3/4" shaft/hub, you might have been able to go with a rim/tire that would be 1" larger or smaller. Larger would have been better.
I couldn't tell exactly what clearance you have but it looks like an inch larger would have worked, but only if was cheaper and more standard.

I had started searching the day before, so it wasn't as simple as you might think. I've gotten lots of other tire/wheel combinations, but they were more common sizes. The 6" hub and 3/4" bearings were the problem.

I did get a different size tire because no one had the same tire and wheel combo that's on this thing. I needed something in the 12 - 13" diameter range with 300 lb load capacity.

It would have been nice if I could have gotten these for $10 each, but it just wasn't possible. Four years ago, I bought two large wheels/tires for an over-the-road utility trailer for just $7 more than these small tires.

Or a good distributor of Garden and Lawn tractors & implements; an old IH distributor may have them.

Just get the tires and rims that are the same overall diameter and bearing size then add spacers made from tubing or even a stack of flat washers to take care of the spacing issue. Use some imagination!

I prefer quality and longevity to improvising.

Tire on my wheel barrow blew out from old age. Went down to the local tire store and they fixed me right up.
