Or just a slight dip on the trail...
I think I'd prefer this without the dead tree branches in it, but, although I'm fairly good at cloning, I'm afraid cloning them out would just make it a fuzzy mess in that area, so I'm leaving it as is. Being sent to the printer for enlargement to hang on my wall :)
Oh.... and this was taken with the Canon SX50.
Very sharp

Pretty nice composition --- like the way the tracks lead into the scene.
I agree with you to leave the dead trees the way they are.
Or you can crop them out by reducing the size of the cloudy sky?
SX50 is a great working tool for everyone on the move!

I think your right , I would just leave a hint of sky . Makes a better picture
And by leaving a hint there you know it's just sky there and not highrise
Cleverly done. I find myself trying to look over the hill where the rails end to see what's there. The rails really pull me into the picture. Congrats!
Thanks for all the nice comments. :D
Wow! This is an amazing photo, Wendy! Sure looks like the end of the line!
I love the colors; this fall has, and still is amazing with it's colors! Very good job!
