Small Waterfall

Last week, I headed unto a place in the North Yorkshire Moors called Goathland. Goathland is well known over here for the setting of two TV series, Heartbeat and also a Harry Potter film.
I Initially set out to photograph a much larger waterfall I had heard about but when I arrived, I just could not get a good composition so rather than come away empty handed, I decided to photograph this smaller one instead.

Beautifully done....subject, composition, lighting, color, presentation....everything. I give it a 10.

spot on. Some may say it is a stop under exposed, for my taste it is flawless

If you could have shot the larger fall and it looked like this one OH! what a super shot that would have been. You do your PP in lightroom as I do what program do you have for your frames,
if you don't mind me asking, I like to frame my shots also I think it adds a lot to the shot.

Sorry, Mate. These comments are all subjective, so here's mine. Because of one detail, I have to give the photo a FIVE. Why?
Because you're capturing a waterfall...moving water, NOT a smear. Use a 1/60 for your shutter speed. Your eyes don't see a smear, so neither does the camera. But the camera will record what you demand. Sorry, but I can't understand failing to capture real life.

Sorry, johnbee418, your comment doesn't "hold water". My eyes see a waterfall as moving water. A still photo cannot show the movement, but it can depict movement with what you call "a smear". The eye doesn't see a waterfall as droplets of water suspended in midair.

I must respectfully disagree that is HIS version, how he saw it. How you see it "real life" ,is how YOU see it. I think it is a moving , feeling shot. Jen
