I don't want to spend a huge amount of money on a lens. Heard that the these lens by Tonika (not sure of exact spelling) go for approximately $450 new, but would consider a gently used one. How much doe the Nikon 12-24 lens go for?

An EX used copy from an outfit like KEH will run you around $600, half the price of a new copy.

I've been pleased with the Tokina 12-24 (replaced) and I believe that reviews have treated the Tokinas well.

16-85 Nikon is a great lens, small, light, great walk around lens. I use it on my 7100 on ski trips, fits inside my jacket, city shots, just a great all around lens. KEH have several used for under $500. Cannot say enough about this lens.

This Tokina 12-28 f4 is the one I recommend !

I think this replaced the 12-24 F4 that I have. Good deal at B&H right now.

I also have a D7100 & have a Nikon 18-140 lens.Takes great landscape photos,just a great walk around lens.I bought mine on eBay.

I have a Sigma EX DG Aspherical DF 15-30mm F/3.5-4.5 lens that's in excellent condition. I'll sell it for $300 + shipping. PM me if interested.
