The Super Blood Moon eclipse September 27

I took sixty five photos and aranged them in PS CC
Nikon d800e
Nikon 300mm pf
Gitzo tripod
Manual exposure
Exposure delay mode 3 sec.
Downloaded a spiral from Google images and place each file (after crop) on the spiral with the opacity at 50%. Use the eraser (the size of the moon) on each layer to remove any overlap of the black sky. (i.e. select layer 5 and put the eraser over the moon in layer 4 to erase the overlap) Left the black sky uncropped in layer one to complete the background.

Excellent! This would sell well as office hangings.

What a great idea.
We are two and a half weeks past the 27th. How much of this time was taken up layering this final image.

What's the rush? I still haven't processed all of mine. I play around with some and then go back to others later - infinite variation.

I think if I left them that long I would probably forget about them.

 Don't think I'd have the patience to work with so many files.

Love it, this is a great idea. There are so many eclipse versions out there and this one stands out perhaps the most of all of them. I sat and studied it quite a while.
If you don't mind me asking, what was your time interval between shots? Great Idea and Great processing.
