Canon EOS Rebel T3 EF-S 55-250mm F/4-5.6 IS
I had the camera set on Landscape and Vivid, not sure i should of done that. Most of the pictures i took today look out of focus, think that might be why, i usually just shoot on standard setting.

1/200 9 iso 100
1/200 9 iso 100...

1/200 9 iso 100
1/200 9 iso 100...

1/125 8.0 iso 100
1/125 8.0 iso 100...

look out of focus to me
look out of focus to me...

Out of Focus?
Out of Focus?...

I don't think they're out of focus, I think the camera is adjusting the aperture according to the subject it believes you are shooting. I think they look like they should when your camera is set on "landscape."

the first three are selective focus. the last two aren't. if you READ YOUR MANUAL it will tell you when using the different scene modes what the focus will be on, the type of shutter speed and f stop the camera will select for each mode. untill you are familiar keep your manual with you when you shoot. If you get a result youu dont like and dont know why the answer is usualy in the MANUAL. I like the vibrant colors especialy in the first three. your skies are excellant and the purple in the flower is rich. when shooting landscapes and flowers keep it set on vibrant.

well, I am glad I had the good taste to like the first 3 then...lol.
I like the reflections of the last one but doesn't "do it" for me like the others.

Well i looked in my manual and i did figure something out. All it said was that the blues and green, when in landscape mode, would be more vivid. So I think i should not set it to vivid also when on landscape. Thanks

Oh and heres one more from today

Great pics au2. I'm new to digital and my memory ain't what it used to be so I've ruined a lot of pics.I live at the veterans home in Yountville Ca. so most of my current photos are of things around the campus (it's like living in a 550 acre park). How do I attach photos to my post? I'm new to that part too.

au2panner, great photos. The top 3 are really great and others comments on what the camera saw. I love them. Because of the top 3, the bottom 2, which are good photos, pale in comparison. If they were stand alone, I would have said both were good photos.
