Narrow Minded Are We????
Best of both worlds....
Shoot in color, and PP B&W
Frankly I really like the shots you displayed, but you could do them both ways...one of the wonders of digital, even though I prefer film
Large format photographer friend once said to me... "Hey, you wouldn't come home and leave all those colors laying out there in the field. Shoot Color, Post Process however you like. You have more freedom in POST in B&W anyway."
Not narrow minded at all. Color photography evolved because of a need for realism among other things. The realism in this case being the fall colors which can be viewed with awe. This can not be done with B&W no matter how hard one tries. These photos, in my opinion are very depressing and have a negative impact. But by no means am I knocking the O.P.'s efforts. In addition, even though it sounds like I am being righteous, I am not, I am simply conveying my sentiments about this series; no one else's.
