A Doe brought her fawns around for some water before she headed out to the fields. Well the water was drunk the green grass around the water was eaten and then came Pie time. Mom worked at it feverishly and before she knew it the fawns were at it as well.

Marilyn. they are all a treat for me. You are aware of my love for all animals. I have been thinking, how about a Deer for two Ducks, or a Deer for a Duck and a Chicken and a Rooster. Surely that's an offer you can't refuse
Anyhow, loved your photographs and I thank you for sharing them with me.

LOL it sounds like the old TV show- "Lets make a deal" With all of the fox running around here- it would be a shame to have your beloved animals fall prey to them. I had wanted Chickens and turkeys but my son talked me out of them. Its heart breaking enough knowing it happens. Thank you for commenting and looking Graham.. :)
Love them Mare, what a gun set. Love the last picture in the second set. Think she is laughing at you. Telling you ha we are saying your pumpkins.
Thanks for sharing. Needed a good smile today. Lake levels over flowing out of its banks cold so windy the rain is not even falling to the ground. Looks like fog.
Stay in and i hope it clears for you and the grand daughter. When i left here - the doe and fawns were up at the mail boxes heading out in the tree'd areas. what stinkers they were.
Great shots, Mare. So heartwarming to see them looking so good, and nice of you to invite them for dessert, lol!
What a bunch of stinkers they were, well maybe not mom but the fawns were. they wanted a bite of the pumpkins and their mom had different ideas and shes kicked them. Well the only option left was to hit my flowers that i had taken the cages off of. now that's a no no to me! out the front door i went and out of the yard they flew. LOL
