I am considering getting one of the WIFI remote control devices for my Nikon 800E. The three that I have looked at are the Camranger, Sanho Iusbport camera 2, or the Case remote. (the dyi option DSLR Controller does not work for NiKON). So here is my question, i would love to hear from any of you that uses any of these devices. What are there limitations and drawbacks. Secondly. now that you own what you got if you ahd to do it over again would you buy that unit again.

Here is what I use for my D750 after getting referrals from others at DPR forums. I purchased the WTR-M.

Sorry I see that now. Yes those items offer far more control than I would ever utilize. Good luck in your quest!

I really like my CamRanger, I even used it during the eclipse on Sunday.

Take a look at TP-Link, a $30 alternative to CamRanger.

Cam Ranger if want wireless definitely would buy again. Look at trigger trap not wireless but has some great function.

Cam ranger by far, but depending on the length of your projects, you might want to have a second or even third charged battery on hand.
