GD- I usually just wait till I get home from a trip to load the images onto the computer to view them. I haven't gotten into FB sharing or the like. I want to keep my computer time down as much as I can!

Go to B&H and check out the drive at: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1076398-REG/wd_wdbk8z0010bbk_nesn_1tb_my_passport_wireless.html

Look at the reviews as there are some limitations to copying from an SD card, ie. you don't have a good indication as to what's going on during the copy or when it's done.

Yes, various reports on unfriendly user quirks. I also heard the Kingston and Verbatim have some type of intermediate device that you plug the sd into, and then a usb into an external drive. Any experiences with those?

Oh yes, that makes sense..........thanks

I also have the WD wireless external drive with the sad slot.
We are traveling in a few weeks time. I've always taken my laptop to back up the day's shooting but this time I'm only taking the WDDrive. I will back up the card to the external drive and keep the originals on the card. I have 2 32GB cards which will each hold, I believe, approximately 750 Raw file photos.
I am always nervous, especially traveling, of only having one record. My WD drive is 1 TB which is obviously more than sufficient.
