Good dog - Shih-Tzu/Jack Russel to give away to a loving home

You need to get both of the Dogs fixed. There is no need to breed even a purebred Dog. There are so many pure and mixed breeds in shelters looking for forever homes. You hubby wants you to get rid of this little guy because he pees-what about a litter of un-house broken puppies running around your home. Your husband sounds like an immature a$$!!

There are probably local rescues for either of the breeds he has in him that will take him. I rescued from a dashchund rescue & they had a chihuahua mix and some other mixes at the foster home also. It's worth a try.

Are you trying to take over where E.W. left off? You have not been very nice lately.

I really don't think this is the place for such posts. Maybe try your local resuce society for the breed?

How have I not been nice? Telling someone to contact a specific rescue is not rude, mentioning I think this might have been better off posted in the classified section of UHH is not rude. This is a discussion forum, getting rid of your family pet because you refuse to neuter and the poor thing is doing what any normal male un-neutered dog will do is not a discussion. If it was I would have offered her my views on that.

Thanks all for caring. I care too, and that is why I posted it on here. I actually had someone who said they wanted him, but that has been 3 weeks ago, and I haven't heard from him. It is not me, but my husband who wants to find another home for him, and he is the one who brought him home, without even asking me first. Since then I have fallen in love with his sweet, loving nature. I would rather see him go to a good home with people that will love him, than to take him to the pound. I will not take him to the pound if I have anything to do with it. That is why I am trying so hard to find him a home. Most of the people I have asked if they know of anyone say they already have dogs and can't take another one. I want to find someone who will love him and care for him. He is house-broken, but with 2 males in the house they mark their territory, which is not the same as being house-broken. I would keep him if it weren't for my husband not wanting him. Thanks again all.
Thanks all for caring. I care too, and that is why... (show quote)

Keep the dog and send the husband to the shelter
:D

So many people are talking about taking this little un-wanted dog into their home. I have PM'ed several with the offer that I will pay for the transport if they arrange it. I have only heard back from one person who, regretfully can not take him. I'm still offering. If anyone wants this boy, make the arrangements and it WILL be taken care of!! Just PM me with the details. And, for heavens sake, I hope the OP does not bring a litter of puppies into this house.

When I read MWAC's first response I took it the same way many did, negatively. After reading it again after her protests and not jumping to conclusions, again, I think I need to give her the benefit of the doubt. I didn't post anything but I am admitting I may have jumped to conclusions. Sorry for that MWAC.

If she was being a thread cop she may still not be blamed. She may have been bitten by the Wolf guy and is beginning to manifest! :P Just kiddin!

Back to the subject at hand. I would chip in for transport too. We have 3 dogs and is the limit by code (overbearing city government) otherwise we would take him in a NY minute.

Just look at all the other comments! Only one negative and I really don't care for the way she treats a lot of others also.
Hopeful you will find a good home that will appreciate and care for him properly!! Good Luck!

WTF have I ever done to you? How I treat others? You mean by giving truthful feedback on images they ask for C&C on? Because I don't sugar coat my feedback I'm the witch of UHH?

and if anyone had cared to ask what I meant, I would have pointed out it really should have been posted in the buy/sell/trade section and I also told her to contact her local rescue that specializes in the breed.

What a bunch of poop.

Hey, why the rant ? Just take it on the chin and keep on keeping on. A photo of a soon to be homeless bundle of fur, with an avatar that includes a guy in uniform, sorry, you didn't have a shot.
You bring a lot to the forum, sit back, relax, and keep on having fun , don't take stuff so personal, you'll enjoy life more.

Please, just leave this discussion. It is not me wanting to get rid of him. We have only had him for a year, and it is not me that doesn't want him neutered. You don't have a husband like mine, and I am doing everything I can to keep him from taking him to the pound. You have been very rude, and I even thought about leaving this site altogether because of you. So please just leave this discussion. I want help, not hurtful comments. Thank-you.

I am going to try my best to talk to my husband and convince him to get him neutered, and to let me keep him. He is such a good dog. His behavior is much better than my full-blooded Shih-Tzu, who is a little brat. I'm going to talk to him tonight about it. Wish me luck.

There seems to be something wrong here, more than a Dog needing a home.
