Well the girls are on the hunt. Tess wanted out and short while later - I saw She had a mouse in her mouth.
I see its gone now so one of her siblings must have stolen it on her.
Marbles is headed off to the tall grass once more, listening for sounds. Won't be long and she will be coming back with one as well. So far none had snuck one into the house.

I enjoyed your cats and your comments on each. We have had cats that were good mousers, some mice were foolish enough to come into a house with cats residing in it.

Good looking kitty's Marilyn! Little Bit got one tonight too. I let her in without looking tho.:):) I chased the darn thing all over the house! But finally got it.:):) Good thing Janny wasn't home.:):) And having Sammy helping me didn't help!!!:)

I could tell the way Tess was flipping it around it was deader than a door knob.

Oh no! This wasn't the first rodeo for a mouse.:) One night we heard the chairs and table moving in the dinning room. Then the same thing in the kitchen. He and the cat were after a mouse.:):) This summer he started bring in Toads and Frogs!??? I don't know how he found them! But that was fun trying to catch them too.:):)

boy that is funny.
I really love when the cats come to my feeders & kill the birds I enjoy seeing & feeding. Also love when they come to the garden to crap, love stepping in it. Dogs must be kept on your property, so why not cats? Cats in the house are great, but out roaming is not very neighborly.
