I wanted to try my hand at some street photography. I had never tried it before. I was in NYC for a few days and couldn't think of a better place to experiment. Just a few of them. Advice?

Great photos!!! I especially like the first, second and fourth!!! The first one really makes an awesome b&w. Two and make strong statements.
Good photos. The first is superb.

These are all nice. You have a good mix and you figured out that NYC really works well in black and WHite. Beautiful.

Thanks. It was fun pulling the camera out when I thought there was a shot to be taken. Interesting light!

I was sort of lucky on that one. We got on a subway and was suppose to get off at 96th. Didn't realize we were on an express and went an extra stop. When I got off I saw that sign and the texture around it. Could have had a little smaller aperture but I think it came out nice. I appreciate you checking them out!
Great shots! I love B&W too. #3 my fav
I like the variety and processing, well done.

Thanks, trying to get a shot of the Statue of Liberty that hasn't been seen before is impossible. But thought this had a nice look in B&W. While it looks like it could have been taken very late in the afternoon, it was actually around 3PM. Thanks for looking at them!

You did well. Also good that you did not use a flash especially on the individual laying in the park.
