If you can't sell it here, there's a good chance that KEH already has an inventory of that lens that is slow to move. You have to take that into consideration, too. The harder it is for them to move inventory, the less they're going to want to pay you for more of it.

Never had a different payout from KEH than was quoted---(Maybe ten transactions)

I see where a lot of you folks have purchased from KEH and give them high marks. I am considering selling them a Canon L lens that is only a few months old. I did get a quote from them. My question, how different is the final price paid then the quote was? Thanks for your time.
I sold one lens to them about six months ago. They paid what they quoted. The transaction was flawless.
INCREDIBLY COMMON LENS.... MANY FOR SALE.
On eBay in the last 60 days, near 70 have sold. A few just over $500, and a whole bunch between $600 and $700 dollars. Those are factual figures that I just garnered from the eBay site in the last five minutes.
Over 60 are currently listed for auction or sale. KEH is bound to be low, since that's what they are looking at.... WAY TOO MUCH INVENTORY OUT THERE.

I would assume that they have built that into their quote.
