Thanks Tom. This is my 2nd trip out as a beginner with new gear. I had film camera gear back in the 90's but never really took it seriously. I am trying to learn each time out. Right now i am working on exposure. Hopefully I will get better at my composition skills with time and listening to members here. Thanks again. It gives me encouragement that I am getting better ;)

Mike you're doing just fine. Keep shooting and posting and take the comments (some of them anyway) with a grain of salt. Every one of us has a different vision when we click the shutter ... and just because what you capture isn't what someone else would have captured it does NOT mean that your photo has any less merit.
I learn something every time I take a picture and every time I read this forum - it all makes me a better photographer.
