It really is not a bad photo at all. Perhaps you could adjust the white balance just a hair to the cooler side (blue). This will get rid of some of the yellow in his face Just a little, like I said.

Focus on the eyes for sharpness. Slightly underexposed. Without knowing what kind of a camera and lens, it's hard to say. It just looks like a snapshot. But, he is a very handsome young man and I love his freckles. It's a keeper!

Agree..it looks a little soft..but hey sometimes with kids that's not all bad..

Thanks for the replys. Taken with Canon XSI kit lens, As you know getting a toddler at the park to stand still is the bigest chore.
