My VERY best friend. I was volunteering with an animal rescue group. Jasmine "found" me. She was near death because of heart worms....but we gave her the best treatment we could. I was "assigned" to handle her at several "adoptathons." Finally, I could NOT accept that she was going back to the concrete floors of a shelter.
We have been a "team" for about four years. I am blessed!
I am envious. We had two that came to us in a like situation - they were the best of me for fourteen years. Thanks for what you did, thanks for what you do.
What a beautiful "puppy" she is a keeper. Bless you for rescuing her, I'm sure Jasmine shows her appreciation to you in more ways than you can count. Hope you have many many many happy years together.......
I love this pic. My mom once told me that when you get a great picture of an animal and you capture their eyes just right, it's almost like they let you see right into their soul. Whenever I see a pic of an animal I always look at their eyes first :)

Mlj, I understand everything you said. That's a great photo of a loyal companion.
wonderful story, and photo !
It's hard to believe people can be so cruel to animals that give only unconditional love. Thank God there are others out there that are willing to give the same back in return. You are blessed. Great picture.
Great story and photo. Nice Job!
