Recieving replies

I have tried everything to retrieve replies to my questions (active topics, my posts, etc.) and still can't access them.
If anyone knows how to do this, please walk me through it.

Top of this page: click on "My Topics" to see your authored threads.
Top of this page: click on "My Posts" to see all of your posts to other HedgeHogger threads.

I must be totally lame, but I still can't retrieve my messages under My Topics or My Posts. Where are the replies?

Are you talking about the replies on this page being viewed now? If so you merely get an E-Mail stating somebody replied. Click on the link in the mail and here you are reading the replies.
