A gorgeous vessel! A beautiful day on the Bay. Can life get any better than that?
Sorry, duplicated in error.
Do you stream LIVE Video from the Drone while airborne?
Just curious how you maintain the vessel in frame!
Thanks!

No mine doesn't have the Wi-Fi video feed. I keep the boat in frame with blind luck. :) That two minute video came from about 15 minutes of footage in which most of the time I was too close cutting off either the masthead or hull.

Nice shots, and it looks like you had a perfect day, enough wind to keep the sails filled with no chop.
Just for my curiosity, how long a sailing season do you get up there from launch to haul out?

Nicely done! Around here; Long Island, NY, there are a lot to of sailboats but not one of them has a colorful sail like yours. Makes photographing them boring.
What is the windmill for? Powering a small electric motor?

It is a wind generator for charging the battery banks.

It was a great day for a photo op with the spinnaker
winds 5-10. Our normal wind is 15-18 with 3' seas
.a bit much for the quad to handle.
For me the season is early May until around Labor Day.
Is that your boat in the avatar? What is she?

It is our boat, she's an Island Packet 32, and like yours is designed for deep water cruising; we've had her for ten years, and I've come to love the cutter rig. It gives me a lot of sail plan options, and the sails are smaller & not as heavy:thumbup: & as they would be with a standard sloop rig.
I'm surprised you can launch so early; that's about what our schedule was in Mass. Here on the mid Chesapeake Bay, I generally try to launch in late April although the last couple of cold & wet Spring weather has delayed it, and we don't haul until late November--so the yard doesn't bury it--but don't use it much after October.
Hope you had a good season!
