Hi there!

I'm the author of the book and I discovered this site as I was trying to track down where my extra orders were coming from today.

I created an account so I can say THANK YOU so much for all the kind words, and a special thank you to everyone who has purchased the book. Very kind of you and I truly appreciate it.

Also, there seems to be a lot of interesting topics on the forum, so I think I'll have to check it out some more - thanks again!!

PS - @jerryc41 - the pics are all mine, Laurie Excel has a similar shot, hers is vertical :)

Thanks Frank - yeah, that travel list has saved me more times than I can count! Before I had it, I was forever forgetting something on a trip - or spending the first day or two wondering what I forgot LOL.

Based on everyones comments, I downloaded this book and read it. I learned so much, my head is swimming. Steve's humour is great and his tips are super. I highly recommend this valuable book. (It's not secure, so you can annotate it in Acrobat, if you wish.)

Steve, your videos are excellent too. The back button focus and use of a CPL filter are especially good.
You would certainly join the dozen or so posters on this site who have the legitimate knowledge and experience to be useful while many of the rest of us, including me, pool our ignorance, parrot comments already made by others or post the results of a Google search.

Steve; I just watched your latest on UV filters and thought you went above and beyond with your tests! Interesting to say the least. The drop weight you designed was an engineering feat. lol I have been a fan of yours for a while on you-tube and hope you continue in your success.

Thanks - Yeah, that UV filter video created quite the little firestorm on my channel and on other sites where it was posted. I think the next video will be much less controversial LOL.
