WOW, Katherine! I have always wanted to see the monarchs migrating. What a sight! Beautiful work.

I sure am hoping they are still around today!
thanks Pat

I bet is has been 15 years [or more] since I have seen them like this that time it was at an abandoned farm up by my parent's place and there were thousands! Film days back then had some developed at a place called Monarch Photo and they had asked to keep one and make an enlargement for their store. That was exciting!

BEAUTIFUL INTERESTING CREATIVE
Lots of great stuff this Sunday
I have to share some of my exciting afternoon with you....
I have had no butterflies all summer--this afternoon I notice there are a few monarchs flitting around in the flowers in front of the house. I go in the back yard and the trees are full of them! It must be migration time and they have decided to stop here OH HAPPY DAY!!!!!

Wow.. What an opportunity for you... Beautiful

I caught this bird fluttering in my flowers. The 2nd was from yesterday. Went to a dog diving event.

I especially like the humming bird.

Don't know where Fred Ann is but I'll step up and start it off. She can take over later. Been playing with techniques for making the new look old.

Thank you for your lovely comments, Judy, Sher, Markar, Simon and E Mang - Ann Murrey your Dog Diving is right up my street and to Plessnar your Monarchs and Bee are spectacular. We've not seen many butterflies this year and never anything as markedly beautiful as these! And as for seeing a humming bird, let alone capturing it you are very lucky and blessed. Don't know if this will pop up in the right place, but thanks again and I've made note of the pet challenge at the end of the month :-)

It was sooo good to see you and your dogs again. Hope you'll return, Sheenagh.
