I would suggest a Zebra pen. I've carried one in my shirt pocket for about 5 years. It's on its third refill. Has never leaked a drop and writes every time.
I'll second this. I recently purchased a stainless steel Zebra barrel (F-701) which I REALLY like. I think they are very good.

I'm sixty(mumble) years old, and IIRC, I've had a grand total of ONE ballpoint pen leak. I realize that's a low number, but I have to wonder what you're doing to your pens that they leak after one day of use.
Maybe a pencil would work better for you?
I presume heat lowers the viscosity of the ink. If the ball
is in contact with a wicking material like cotton, the ink
would be drawn out by osmosis.
If it's in your pocket ball end up and very hot I suppose the ink simply
runs out the tube.
A "retractable" pen clipped into a shirt pocket eliminates those
issues.
Australia can be very hot, that is possibly a contributing factor to the leaking issues with Bics I have had. Anyway, the Parker Jotter solved that problem.

Exactly why, as an embarrassed young man, I stopped carrying a Bic pen completely. Damn I liked those white pants!
I make custom pens. Ballpoint, roller ball and fountain pens and have never had a complaint of leaking. I also use only best best ink available.

A "Jotter" is simple, pleasing, steel, ball point... that always works.

White pants! I've had girlfriends that wore white pants
The shirt pocket leak syndrome was my problem with Bics...

Likely true; however, holding the smooth barrel is painful for me when my hand sweats even a little. Which is why I don't use them. Hand cramps suck!

Careful, someone might get jealous. ;)

I still use pens everyday for many uses, but it is next to impossible to find one that doesn't leak like a stuck pig after a single day of use. I really like the Inkjoy pens, they are comfortable in the hand but they still leak like crazy. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
I cannot use ball point pens because too hard for me to write with but I use Pilot Precise Gel pens .07 every day at work for notes and signing over my seal on drawings, specifications and calculations.
On occasion I have had failure but it is rare for how many I run dry.

Pilot & Pentel seem to work best for me. I also like the Fisher 'Space' pens.
Temperature & humidity can play a part. If the vent hole is plugged up and the temp rises, is will leak.
I lived in the tropics for a while and it was a constant problem with cheap pens.
Switched to TUL brand, rollerball. Pen just floats across the paper. Love them.

If you want an amazing pen go to>
http://fisherspacepens.com/I am a distributor for them. These pens will write in heat, cold, underwater, and in space.
These pens were developed for the astronauts.
I have one that is a 338 Lapua bullet pen.
Hope this helps,
