Before arriving, I had heard wonderful comments about this museum. I was not disappointed!. They have a great collection of older steam locomotive in showroom like conditions. They were mostly roped off so I couldnt get in as close as I would have liked to.
There is a working steam locomotive that pulls passenger cars. It was not running on my day.....Nuts!
There are other cars on display.

Image 12, Engine 4294. This is a cab forward engine. The engine is configured to run backwards, putting the engineer and fireman at the front of the engine. This engine runs on oil. The next two images provide more details.

Very nice shots Pat, even if you couldn't get closer, and the way they are displayed is fantastic.
The history pages are interesting too, but I don't think there is any difference to steam engine itself whether it is running "forward" or "backwards" it's just a difference in the way the steam enters the cylinders. Forward or backward is a human perception, and the engine with the cab ahead of the boiler shows that.
I live not too far away, and have been to this museum. You got some very interesting shots with a high ISO and very little noise. Well done!
