Ever since I went to Win 10 my canon printer just wouldn't print. It would copy but not print. I did mantainance protocols and still nothing. So in desperation I uninstalled the printer and loaded the Rom disc. wouldn't install, said driver was in use. So I called Canon Service. The tech spent a very patient hour (that's right 60 minutes) with me. He took me, step by step. and fixed the problem. He was extremely helpful. And for his help and for his time the bill was exactly ZERO. That's why I use Canon.

Another happy Canon customer. ME TOO. been sold on Canon products and service for more than 40 years. Well let me ad I use a HP printer and a laptop computer running Win 10 and it recognized it with out a hitch.
Canon is Properly why you had the problem. My Canon had the Opposite problem Prints fine won't scan. I have to go into the printer files and manually tell it to scan, or start scanning on the printer. My other printers are fine.
I am also a Canon guy, so this was very nice to hear. But for me, my new Canon printer has had no issues after I loaded WIN 10.
Thanks for sharing your good experience. I have had wonderful experiences with Canon too. I'm lucky. I live only 45 miles from their NJ repair center. Being a CPS member help too.

I have found all online, chat, and phone service to be hit or miss. One guy can spend time trying to solve the problem and give up. I'll call back immediately and have the problem solved in minutes.
I don't know if it's still the same, but years ago, there was no new software on space vehicles. They used the older tried and true hardware and software. They didn't want the astronauts calling tech support from space.

Houston we have a problem
Canon does have the new driver for Windows 10 for Pixma pro 9000 mark II
Boberic,
Anytime the system has been upgraded (8.1 to 10) there needs to be an upgrade with drivers for each peripheral device. An outside scanner and printer sometimes finds the drivers dedicated to the device. If the device is somewhat outdated, go to the vendor online and request the appropriate driver for that peripheral. This is also true with older software. (Always reboot after updating devises so that the directives are in the bootable section on startup.

I have had exceptional Canon service as well, when having problems setting my wireless connection. However, I have not tried to print since upgrading to Windows 10. Glad you mentioned it. Need to check that out.
