Excellent osprey photos! Osprey always look a bit scruffy to me compared to bald eagles, and I always love your eagle photos too. I think osprey may make up for appearance by greater fishing competence.
These fish-hunting birds are always exciting for me. I saw a pair of osprey along the California coast last spring, but they were too far away for good photography.

Thank you, cwaters. Bald Eagles are my favorite birds to photograph, but right there in 2nd place are the Ospreys. They are large, powerful birds and they are very interesting birds to watch and photograph.
