Here's the story. A young woman I work with is getting married on 9/5/2015. They have almost no money and had decided to skip having pictures. It seemed sad that they wouldn't have a few pictures to look back on, so I encouraged her to write the Craig's List post below. She doesn't think anyone will respond. I can't make it on that day or I would just take the pictures myself. He is just out of boot camp, so he'll be in uniform. I think if they got 6 nice pictures, they would be super happy.
Please don't hate on her post, since it was my idea, just reply to me with bad thoughts.

Kervin, I wish I had the finances to do this for them. I'd take as many as they'd want. Good luck and good fortune to both of them.

I am sure they have someone they know with a camera with a small modicum of talent for 6 shots that could do it as a wedding gift.

We have two pictures of our Wedding. We eloped and three of my wife's girlfriends went along for the ceremony. One of them took two B&W pictures with a box camera. It's fun to have the pictures but the vows we made 54+ years ago mean a lot more. - Dave

If they don't get any takers. Tell them to go buy a few of those throw away cameras and give them to the folks coming to the wedding. I would love to help them out. But to far away for me.:( Tell the young man Simper Fi for me!!!!!

If nothing else, they can buy a selfie stick and take selfies of themselves. A shame neither has a friend that could take some shots for them. I agree with Wilsondl2. Gary

I may be able to help... I'm up on the peninsula... I'm not a professional and have never "shot" a wedding, but I do love to take pictures--mostly sports, wildlife and various other "events"... what time is the wedding?

Too far away for me. I would do it for them in a heart beat. I sure hope someone will be able to help them out.

Wow!
Sorry I can't go down there and visit my son and do this for them. I would do anything for military.

Okay. I can do it. I'll be posting on the photo site to get some help in advance as I've never "shot" a wedding before... But, if there is an experienced wedding photographer able to do it, please speak up as I'm sure you could do a better job!
