Backpacking in the Gila Wilderness, NM, stayed up to watch the sky and try to capture a meteor or two . Had a friend paint a little light on the mountain we were camped at the base of about a quarter mile away . I was using a 15 mm lens so it gives the meteor a bit of a curve.

thank you Craig, we hiked about 8 miles packing about 50 lbs, stayed 3 days and saw some of the darkest skies I've ever seen
