Nice peaceful Image for my morning... Thanks very much Bob!
You're welcome Michael. I'd like to be out on the lake too, except that I would be in a canoe.

Thanks Jim. This would be an excellent way to spend the day - especially if it was someone else's boat.

Either he knows the best spot to fish, or he doesn't, lol! Love the shot, Bob. Very peaceful, makes you want to be there in the boat with him, even if you don't catch anything. Nice one.

Thanks Randy. It's ironic, I get a lot of photos of fishermen with their lines in the water, but I've never seen anyone haul in a big one. Do you think it's because photographers are not as patient as fishermen?

Thanx for the reply Bob :) . It helped me conclude a little about my studies and experience.

sometimes you have to be in the correct spot at the correct time. Fishing is an art as well :) And having a rod and a boat doesn't mean one know how to fish :)

Wish I was there, in spring or fall, I'll let you have summer to yourself.
There have been times in the past when having fish bite got in the way of just enjoying being there. Part of the time my buddy and I would use lures with the barb cut off just for the fun of fishing without having to clean anything etc.

Thanks Jerry. I think we must be the same kind of fisherman. I have never been thrilled about the sport. I tried it as a kid, learned to clean a fish and cook it, but was never a fan of seafood (too bad, in a 20 year Naval career I visited places that probably had some of the best seafood in the world). But I would be perfectly happy to go out in a boat and sit with someone else who was fishing.

I spent more time fishing out of my kayak than my aluminum deep V the last couple of years. I can go places you can't get to in a big boat and catch more fish.

Love this shot of the kayak Bob. This is my 39th season of kayaking. I now look more like the guy in the shot since I gave up the insanity of Class IV-V white water.

Thanks Doc. My wife and I were Class III canoeists back in the days before digital cameras ....... oh! how I wish we could go back in time and capture those heady days on the river.
