Welcome to this worldwide family :)

In winter I drive around the countryside with two camera bodies (different lenses) lying on the passenger seat - lol.

A couple of winters ago I spent a lot of time learning photo editing programs - a whole 'nother way to have fun with this joyous hobby.

Welcome. I would think that when you retire you go and shoot whatever suits your fancy. That's the reason you retire isn't it?

Welcome to the forum!
I'm not retired yet, a couple of more years... But definitely looking forward to it!
Shoot what you like.
Scenics? Water? Beach? Mountains? Animals? Cars?
My taste is very eclectic in what I shoot (but mostly scenics) as you can see by my gallery at MyMindsEye.us

Hello Cpap,
I have retired recently and find that my digital camera is being used more than ever and post processing also absorbs a lot of time. It's surprising what you can find on your own doorstep and you have all of London to photograph. Our US friends would love to see photos of London scenery as many of them will never get the chance to visit.
There are quite a few UK members on here so you are not alone, if you want to know anything just ask and someone have the answer for you.
Cheers,
John.

Welcome, congrats on retirement, something we all long for! Get out, do what ever you like and have the camera by your side at all times and as my mentor said, shoot, shoot, shoot and shoot some more. You will be surprised.
Then try to figure out the post production of your beautiful photos!
Have fun....Jeff

Afternoon Cpap! Recent retiree from Oxfordshire here. Been using the time to enjoy a little more wildlife photography in and around the garden, some aviation from planes flying nearby. Dabbling also in photo restoration and repair-would not call myself skilled but let's say-enthusiastic amateur dabbler!
Great forum this by the way-huge knowledge resource and very friendly!

Welcome to UHH Cpap, glad you joined us. Also retired, March of 2014. Favorite type of photography is "street photography" and events such as civil war reenactments.
Have fun, learn and enjoy the forum.
