Very nice... The car and the deer :D

I think they have seriously thinned the deer out here in the woods by me... Have seen very few this year... Unfortunately the last one i saw was a doe by the side of the road...

what a shame, the last time i was thru Elk grove, it was pretty wooded and i expect the wild life was abundant in that area.
I do not have many here this year either- not sure why that is, unless the herd has moved on.

We still have about a dozen elk here in a large enclosed area... the park here has about 2.5 million visitors each year which rivals Yellowstone every year... Still a great place... We have lost 4000 trees here in the village due to the emerald ash borer... They have been working to replace them with varied success...

i lived in Glen Ellyn for 27 years and Addison as i was growing up so i semi know the area.
The ash borer took my only ash tree last year. i was very saddened to see that.

Very good on living near here.... been in the village 43 years... Love it here... you would not recognize busse woods and the watershed project that has been done on the salt creek... 7.7 mile circular paved bike path that crosses 3 dams and goes around the lakes... Check it out on google earth or maps....

Mare, we saw a little baby deer cross the road today...all by himself! Traffic stopped both ways for him to make it safely into the woods.

I'm curious...what kind of car do you have? It sure is pretty! :)

i am happy to hear some people care about the animals to let it cross in front of them.
My car is a pontiac Solstice, Sue.
