need program for converting JPEG to RAW and information

after all the previous posts, it is possible to process jpegs in ACR. However, when you do you are still processing jpegs. It can be a convenient way to process your picture.

Lightroom and After Shot Pro are great for working with raw files. I used Nikon's free ViewNX for a couple of years and it did most of what I wanted. Lightroom and After Shot Pro do more, faster.

Howdeee, You can use Picasa for free and it will edit RAW format.. Google Picasa and see if it is what would work for you;;

Photography is complicated, RAW is part of it, try it you may like it!
