We had a nice cooling storm move through and when it ended the deer came out. They were loaded with P&V and chasing one another all over. Mean While the magpies were as pesty as they could be today- needless to say you will see in some of my shots the pies pecking the ticks off the deer .

I'd be full of P and V too, with magpies sitting on and biting at my rear end, even if only to get the ticks, lol.

Nice shots, Mare. Always a pleasure to see them!

Thanks Karen,
The magpies love the ticks on the deer and go right after them.

If that doesn't beat all! I have wondered what purpose ticks serve. Now if there were only some animal that would eat fleas----
