He was a PITA that was banned, but upon reflection he was from G.B.(England)

No idea who JR1 is - I am who I am and have not changed names, personality or behavior since I have been a member. Just ask MTshooter, Imagemiester or that Bram Bam.

Nah... the labs report lack of sharpness at 600 mm for this lens. To say it is the same at 400 as Nikon or Canon misses the point. This not a 400 mm lens it is a 600 and that is why people buy it. It is also at f6.3 necessitating a higher ISO and longer shutter sped than a f/4 in low light. It also limits your ability to add a TC. It is cheaper but that's about it. Go for it but it is no way equivalent to Nikon on Canon. though many like yourself will try to make that argument.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Tamron 150-600 from about 150 yards away, sharp enough?

I believe we started on Tamron and Sigma V Canon /Nickon

Is it just me or does the Mark whatever sound like JR1?

Of course it does , any one who has to get on here and blow his own horn to a bunch of strangers, about his life accomplishments , there is defiantly a few
Loose connections in his gray matter . And it unfolds as it should for all to
See in its . The only one who doesent know it is the subject in question . If they every see the truth . They are usually the last to figure it out .

You ruined the image when you over sharpened in Lightroom. There is a white outline around the legs and the neck is just gross. Come on you're trolling us right? You really are making a joke of the lens right? I get it. lololol

So funny - thanks for sharing.

Wrong about what? lololol .... The image is garbage!!!! Anyone can see it was over sharpened. The neck is gross. The bird has a fine white outline, noticeable at the legs. Just zoom in on it, the dark and light pixels just pop out.If anyone else would like to look at the image, please comment on my observation.

Do you not know that when you post the original, others can look at the metadata? It is indicates Lightroom 6.1 was used. Do you not see that or know how to extract that information?

Here are two images of a blue heron. One is unsharpened and one is sharpened. The sharpened iages has the same white outline on the legs as the image you posted. The other image has not been dharpened at all and it has no white outline.

You sharpened your image to prove that the lens was sharp. But that sharpness came from software, not the lens. What are you trying to prove?
