Very nicely done Albert. I spent some time on your flicker pages and they are awesome. Superb images.
Thanks for the kind words. I've been playing around with some 70's vintage Tamron SP lenses. Seems like they have pretty good optics. I shot the marble with the 90mm macro / portrait lens.
Nice lighting and composition. Nice lens as well.
Thanks kindly.... For lighting I turned off the overhead fluorescents which left a bit of ambient light from the windows. I then used a small LED flashlight with a bit of an old cotton t-shirt over the lens. I REALLY like the Tamron Adaptall SP stuff & you can still pick up some of the older lenses at a reasonable price. The 90mm is getting kind of pricy & the wide angle stuff has really gotten up there.
Thanks... I was sitting at my desk during lunch yesterday and realised I was going through 'I haven't shot anything in 3 days' photo withdrawal! When you're an addict you do what you gotta do.... :)
A nice creative shot . Love the blue color. Will try some similar shots from your inspiration .
Appreciate that.... It's amazing what you can do with some construction paper, a led flashlight & the stuff you find in your desk drawer! I'm holding you to your word & am looking fwd to seeing your post /s! :) :)
Thanks, Bob... (btw, like your quote...) One of the things that really attracts me to photography is the ability to combine a few everyday objects and create something out of the ordinary.......
