Well someone was thinking outside the box when they developed this gizmo.
Unless you are in a position to appreciate this device you would probably make comments about dirt, cost, ineffectiveness, yadda, yadda, yadda. I shoot wedding, I shoot people events. I carry two cameras. During 'some' of the situations this would come in handy. I will be purchasing one soon. That scene in the video where the lens flies out of the photographers hand is an all too often occurrence. I believe $89 is cheap for this feature.

I agree with Sidney. They don't address the dust and dirt issue on their short video. Anything that settles on the open end of this gadget will fall into your lens as soon as you turn it over. I'll pass....

I think people worry too much about dust .
I don't worry about dust , I spend what time I have taking pictures with it , not cleaning it ,
If you did not get it dirty you would not need the time to clean it DUH !
